It’s a joy to invite you into an Advent season of daily Scripture, reflection and prayer as we make space to contemplate the wonder of Christ’s nativity.

We enter the Advent season after a fall celebration of the classic spiritual disciplines. We explored the variety of holy habits like Scripture reading and meditation and rest. But we’ve not yet considered the practice at the heart of the Christian life– a habit most Americans say they do every day – prayer.

I hope you’ll plunge in and immerse yourself in the Scriptures and in
prayer—I think your prayer life is going to get soaked in power and joy.
And when we pray—God moves in miraculous ways.
